Wheelchair Transport

One Way (All trips): $75/trip*

Round Trip (All trips): $150/trip*

*Plus $5.25/mile + pickup fees apply

Extra Stops: (Must be medically necessary i.e., pick up a prescription)

     $10 per stop

 

Baggage: (If more than two bags)

     Flat fee of $25

     Flat fee of $25

Transports on Weekends, Evenings (after 6 p.m.), Mornings (before 7 a.m.) and all major holidays are subject to a $75 surcharge.

Self-pay weekend/holiday transport should be scheduled with Ride SImple at least 24 hours in advance. For Medicaid-approved transportation, reservations must be made through Verida Transportation or WellTrans, which require 48 hours advance notice).

  • Service hours: Monday – Friday (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

  • Service after hours (subject to $75 surcharge): Weekends (12 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.) Monday – Friday (12 a.m. – 6:59 a.m., 6:01 p.m. – 11:59 p.m.)

  • Ride Simple Patient Shuttle Services LLC observes the following major holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve.

  • Pricing applies to ambulatory individuals requiring minimal physical assistance from the driver.
  • No charge for walkers, rollators, canes, or portable oxygen.

  • The transport of personal belongings will incur a flat handling fee of $25. This will go into effect if the passenger requests and or accepts assistance with carrying their personal items and belongings (i.e., grocery bags, food, drinks, medical equipment, medical supplies).

  • Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been approved by Ride Simple Patient Shuttle Services LLC.

  • A 3% card processing fee will be charged for passengers paying with debit/credit cards.
